Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience is committed to ensuring that dunbrody.com is accessible to the widest possible audience, in accordance with the European Accessibility Act 2025 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
This accessibility statement applies to: https://dunbrody.com
Date of publication: 18-11-2025
Date of last review: 18-11-2025
Compliance Status
Following a full accessibility audit and remediation project, dunbrody.com is fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA with the exception of minor limitations related to third-party embedded services.
Compliance Status:
Partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA, due to the non-accessible content listed below.
Despite comprehensive remediation efforts, some accessibility issues remain due to third-party constraints or content outside our control.
Known limitations include:
- Embedded iframes (Dunbrody Virtual Tour and Booking System). These third-party systems limit the ability to modify focus indicators, ARIA attributes, or navigation structure.
- Payment Form (Stripe embedded iframe). ARIA enhancements cannot be applied within the secure payment iframe.
All other accessibility issues identified during the initial audit, including colour contrast, heading structure, form labelling, navigation, focus states, ARIA roles, and alternative text—have been fully resolved.
A complete accessibility audit was conducted on 18-11-2025, and remaining third-party restrictions have been documented.
